I’m really pleased to update you on the upcoming Carers Market Place Event during Carers Week 2023 on Friday 9th June 2023 at the Guildhall, Hull.
The event which is hosted by The Carers Information & Support Service (CISS) on behalf of the Hull’s Carer’s Partnership Board will take place between 10:30am and 2:30pm. Our aim is to provide lots of information and support to carers in just one place making it a little easier for carers.
We are delighted to advise the following details:
- 45+ Services and Organisations will be in attendance to provide information, offering advice and support for unpaid carers.
- Information & access to the online Carers UK Digital Support.
- Makaton Taster Sessions
- Launch of the ‘The Champs’ Carers Awards
- Carer/Service User Consultation – Hospital Discharge.
During the week, the CISS team will be out and about across the city raising awareness of unpaid caring and promoting the Carers Market Place Event.

When carer’s access support it really does make a difference.
I don’t know about anyone else experience I have struggled with what help you can get been a full-time carer I’m one of probably a lot of people that don’t know about this service and it was the best thing I have done the lady’s I’ve spoken to have really help me and I can’t thank them enough brilliant support
